Aug 10, 2019 / hydro gear 2800 Oil Change Problem #1 Hi folks, This is my first post I contacted Hydro gear directly and their tech said they need to be done at 75 hours initially on the zt3400's I have now.
I have a Snapper s50x zero turn mower that was leaking hydro fluid out of the passenger side (left setting on seat) transmission Cover looks different than the existing one, much thicker. The transmission is a Hyrogear 2800 , i replaced the O ring which appears to have stopped the leak but after filling with hydro oil the transmission does not work

ZT2800e™ Estate Grade ZeroTurn Drive HydroGear. Several months ago my left hydro started not responding when the lever was pushed all the way forward but if I just pushed it slightly, the mower would slowly build up speed, I changed the fluid and bled the hydros as per the manual but it failed to rectify the problem Oil levels are fine initially and then after running the resevoir is empty and I see dripping from both the right and left sides.
